Rooms Description

Our comfort rooms are characterized by beautiful design, an attached bathroom and a nice veranda outside. They are made of country bricks, stylish tiles and modern bathroom appliances. They are more suitable for guests who prefer a comfortable lodging with their own bathroom. All beds are provided with sheets, blankets and pillows. Each room is also equipped with a writing desk, ethernet cable internet in room, locker, large ceiling fan, outside sitting area (some with a hammock), USB & Indian electricity sockets, and power back-up for USB plugs, lights and fan. At the end of this page you will find details of our comfort rooms, but take in consideration that we can only note a specific room preference as we only guarantee the reservation of a room type.

Notes on Rates and Discounts

• 2 nights minimum stay for last minute reservations.
  
• 4 nights minimum stay for reservations requested less than 1 month in advance.
• 7 nights minimum stay for reservations requested more than 1 month in advance.
• 20 % discount for long-term guests (minimum 2 weeks stay), young people (up to 30 years old), Auroville International members and Friends of Auroville.
• 40 % discount for Auroville long-term volounteers (minimum 1 month stay).
• 60 % discount for Joy’s long-term volounteers (minimum 1 month stay).
• Additional 20 % reimbursement from Auroville Financial Service after 2 months of stay for SAVI registered volounteers.
• Free stay for children up to 4 years old in bed with parents.
• Breakfast not included.
• Auroville Guest Contribution & Aurocard included.
• Additional 12 % Goods & Service Tax (GST) over rates exceeding Rs. 1000.
• Additional 3 % bank fee over card and online payments.
• 15 % not-refundable advance payment to confirm reservations.
• 100 % balance payment at check-in.
